Overview
Bick Preppen is a lawyer in Scenebux and a close associate of Chloe. Ben Etxina suspects that Chloe is sexually involved with Bick after seeing her phone at Bick’s place, and that suspicion contributes to Ben’s decision to pursue his own affairs while the relationship is failing.
Ben sees Bick as a musclebound junior associate with large arms, which Bick attributes to early-morning rowing in the bay.
Role
Bick first appears near Chloe at Coconut Woman. After Ben returns from the UAE and Laos, Bick assists him pro bono. He explains that the Dubai drug frame is unlikely to leave Ben with a red notice, criminal charge, or continuing legal exposure, and he advises Ben to consider suing Enward Capital over Gabriel Findhom’s actions.
Ben declines the proposed civil case because he believes it would provoke the larger T4 network.
