Overview
Hera Kystarlik is the wife of Karz Kystarlik and owner of Marigold Blue in Calinitia Dreaming. She bears a neck burn mark and has resisted full Azalite conversion despite marrying into Karz’s world.
Hera is one of Adon Halicar’s most dangerous sources. Her attraction to him and hostility toward Karz pull Adon deeper into the Peak House and the hidden network around Beni Teskennen.
Role
Hera invites Adon into a sexual forced-entry scenario at the Peak House, beginning an affair that also functions as an investigative opening. She tells Adon about Beni Teskennen and the southern estate, then warns him that Karz knows there is another man.
She is later found dead in an alley, still wearing Adon’s Dimatian pendant. Adon believes Karz arranged her killing after suspecting her infidelity and usefulness to the investigation.
