Overview

The MILPREP Corporation is a defense-media contractor in Current Affairs. It maintains a Brooklyn office, hires through a security-clearance process, and guides entertainment and media projects toward national-preparedness goals.

Vincent Becker reorganizes MILPREP’s media work after Carol Bell’s departure. Nik Marlan works there first, then helps Calvin Munn enter the organization.

Operations

MILPREP’s Current Affairs department assigns Calvin to read Hollywood screenplays and sort them into support categories. Becker presents the work as a way to prepare public feeling for war, especially as RINIC becomes a growing Pacific threat.

The organization sends Calvin to film supervision, weapons demonstrations, and the USS Carl Vinson documentary project. After the Daniel Inouye attack, Becker requisitions Jasper van der Vliet’s footage for immediate strategic use.

Calvin leaves MILPREP after his Honolulu assignment, but the organization remains central to the final crisis. Becker asks Calvin to speak after the USNS Mercy attack, and Calvin’s MILPREP role becomes the public reason he is introduced at the Hudson Yards rally.
