Overview

Blood Ties is a fictional campy vampire horror musical in Current Affairs. It is made by Clint Prescott and Misha Novak, with original songs and a party scene shot at House of Yes.

The film is closely tied to Calvin Munn and Rebecca Sedki’s engagement because Calvin uses one of its long-take setups to propose.

Production And Premiere

During the shoot, Calvin proposes to Rebecca in a planned long take while Arthur Sedki and Maryam Sedki help arrange the moment. The footage remains part of the film’s record of the old No-Fly circle.

Years later, after Walter Yeo helps finance completion, Blood Ties premieres at Rockrest Theater. Calvin attends without Rebecca, who is in Portugal with Imogene Schmidt, and sees a brief glimpse of his proposal in the finished film.
