Greater Good, also called GG, brings together members of the social circle around Dante Amōgos and his twin Julie Drew Amōgos, the leading figures at Homonoid Labs. Its slogan is DO MORE GOOD. Kane, an associate who criticizes the twins, calls it the “Cult of the Twins.”
Lin Jiao describes Greater Good and Homonoid as officially separate but closely connected through membership. She says the twins rose through the group, signed loyalty oaths and lived for years in a Bay Area commune while building their company. She estimates that roughly three quarters of Homonoid’s personnel belong to Greater Good.
Sedona summit
In Homonoid, the group holds a summit at Mii amo in Sedona. According to Lin, the resort is initially reserved for the inner circle, but interest spreads to about a quarter of Homonoid, with Mountain Modern accommodating the overflow. Security checks the attendee list at a temporary barrier and directs nonresident guests to park elsewhere. Lin obtains an exception by calling Dante.
Attendees receive photographic badges, and the program includes a Core Views talk and a session on insects, models and consciousness. Julie is heading to the latter when Lin draws her aside. Ben’s access to the gathering lets him approach Jordan Damour, the Homonoid employee involved in stealing Hammett. Damour’s flight from the resort leads the investigators to his hotel and the discovery of his body.
