Grace, also known as Number Four, is a sex worker from Hong Kong at the Emperor Hotel sauna in Macau. She speaks English with British inflections and gives Ben Etxina information about her former colleague Lisa. Ben estimates Grace to be in her late thirties. She wears a short black club dress when the manager introduces her.
Ben visits the sauna with Johnny Hansum, a local contact sent by Lin Jiao to help him find Lisa.
Work and information
Grace takes Ben to a private room, marking the door with the number four. She initially licks his torso, then changes to a shoulder massage when he directs the conversation back to Lisa. They agree on an additional tip for information about the missing woman.
Grace says Lisa came from Chongqing three years earlier and had been a professional golfer before a car accident. She connects Lisa’s departure from the sauna to a dispute with their employer, Leong Hou-Fai, and the theft of expensive computer equipment. She gives Ben Leong’s full name and hospital location, reporting that Lisa’s boyfriend injured his skull. Grace calls Leong Fai Gor, praises him as a good boss and condemns Lisa’s treatment of him.
When Ben tries to leave with much of the appointment remaining, Grace asks him to stay. She explains that a short session with a large tip might lead management to suspect poor service or drug dealing, something she says has caused trouble before.
Roleplay and later contact
Ben describes a fantasy in which he is a captured American paratrooper desired by his female interrogator. Grace adopts that role, ordering him to face the wall and treating him as a prisoner. He leaves the erotic session with a black eye and bruised ribs. He later recalls his head being struck against the wall.
After disabling the robot, Ben reaches Grace through Instagram and confirms that she is Number Four. He tells her that Leong’s stolen GPUs are with police near the hospital and that the attacker was a machine whose face he destroyed. She teases him through the same interrogator persona used during their session.
