Overview
Michael Senesky is a Minnesota high-school sophomore and young Amanda Bannington fan in A Cancellation. Amanda first knows him through the Instagram handle @michaelsutter7 and initially calls him Michael Sutter before he gives her his real surname in Minneapolis.
Michael’s profile associates him with Minnetonka, football, and the class of 2025. He praises Amanda’s AmandaHere theme song, tells her she is a muse, and makes a beat from her intro-song hook.
Relationship with Amanda
Amanda accepts Michael’s message request, studies his shirt-lift photo, and begins replying warmly. After an argument with Andy Field, she initiates a late-night exchange with Michael and later sends him a suggestive topless selfie under a bedsheet. She also flirts with him after he buys her red swimsuit from a clothing sale and tells him not to tell his parents.
Amanda’s messages to Michael become more reckless as her relationship with Andy falls apart. She texts him explicit comments about sex with Brad Miller, which Michael says he does not want to hear. She also sends him the Sugar Chibi Dubai leak link after he asks about it.
Public Exposure
In Minneapolis, Michael waits by Amanda’s stage door and asks her to dinner. Amanda realizes that he is no older than fifteen and about to turn sixteen, remembers that she has liked his birthday post, and flees.
Sapphire Van Ness contacts Michael after the encounter and interviews him for Surviving Amanda Bannington. Michael Senesky’s Scoop interview drops early, and Ken Lang says it alleges Amanda sent bestiality pornography to a high-school sophomore. The later criminal case against Amanda revolves partly around Michael.
