buried Ba'at temple

Overview

The buried Ba’at temple is an ancient Dimatian temple beneath the Bank of Achora site in Calinitia Dreaming. It contains old stone, carvings, and a statue of Ba’at, and Adon understands it as the work of his Dimatian ancestors.

Ba’at says the temple must be brought back into sunlight and serve her priestesses again.

Role

Adon Halicar first reaches the temple during the Bank of Achora excavation and later returns with Guinevere Hail to renew his patronage. The place becomes the spiritual center of his Dimatian calling.

The Aksakanit later leave the temple physically intact but paint it red, blank Ba’at’s eyes, and turn it into the final sacrifice site. Adon’s artillery call collapses the temple, after which Ba’at tells him aboard the Aurorandia that the temple is now with him.
