Overview
The Aksakanit are the Azalite elder council at the center of Calinitia Dreaming. They are described as senior, often bald and earless Azalite men who interpret the Rites of Ikhir and control knowledge hidden from ordinary believers.
They initially appear to be building or funding Achora, but the true plan is to arrange sacrifices at kazmat and ley points so Macix can enter the world.
Activities
The Aksakanit take Heather Grace Faltina, use tainted amogen drops and Azalite households to control victims, and work through figures such as Beni Teskennen, Karz Kystarlik, Feltrinka, and Talmin Rafinnet.
Their final ritual is staged beneath the Bank of Achora in the defiled buried Ba’at temple. The ritual is interrupted by an artillery strike but still allows Macix to manifest before Guinevere Hail destroys him.
