Overview

Henry Owens’s plot against Scoop is Henry Owens’s planned murder of the YouTuber Sapphire Van Ness in A Cancellation. It begins after Henry reveals himself to Amanda Bannington as the Phantom and offers to act anonymously against her enemies.

Henry first offers to kill Michael Senesky or Andy Field. Amanda rejects those targets but names Sapphire, saying Scoop is the one who caused everything.

Outcome

Henry says he will attend to his work after Amanda names Sapphire. Amanda starts to call the LAPD after the encounter but aborts the report, leaving the threat unresolved from her side.

The later HeyHiHaejin series states that the FBI arrests Henry before he can strike against Sapphire. The plot links Amanda’s public collapse to the private retaliation network she encouraged when she accepted the Phantom’s earlier secret work against Sugar Chibi.
