Overview
Sephret is an Azalite bartender and later apostate in Calinitia Dreaming. He first appears as Timo Mitzura’s harmless-seeming friend, and his Azalite background makes Adon Halicar reflexively suspicious. After renouncing his faith, he hides his ears under a muffed hunter’s cap as an outward sign of apostasy.
Sephret becomes one of Adon’s most important informants on the Aksakanit, the Rites of Ikhir, kazmat lines, and the Liminal Zone lodge.
Role
Sephret explains that the Aksakanit are not merely city-builders but ritual elders working toward the release of Macix. He is later imprisoned in the Den of the Mother, where his account of the plan becomes sharper and more frightening.
After escaping the Den, Sephret tails Talmin Rafinnet to West Nataia, proves his apostasy to Mefaki hosts by defacing an Azalite seal, and helps Mandi Plinkain and Timo rescue Adon and Heather Grace Faltina.
