Overview
Macix is the greater being whom the Aksakanit seek to free in Calinitia Dreaming. He is a spirit of fire, stone, and orange horns. His face is represented by the half-face mask used in Heather Grace Faltina’s abduction.
Sephret explains that the true Rites of Ikhir are meant to tear the veil between Macix’s realm and the world. The goal is not simply to build Achora as a city, but to transform the world under Macix’s dominion.
Manifestation
After Adon Halicar calls an artillery strike on the Bank of Achora, the ritual site collapses and Macix rises from the chasm as a giant figure of stone and magma. Talmin Rafinnet asks him to enslave the world and build eternal Achora.
Macix crushes Rafinnet instead. Guinevere Hail, acting through Netra’s godfire, burns him apart and ends the imminent apocalypse.
