Overview
Mac Amoolish is a former technology figure and T4 Fund insider in Scenebux. Easton Cannonade describes him as a former intimate or subordinate of Carl Froht who later broke with the Enward Capital and venture-capital world.
Ben finds Mac white, bathrobed, and isolated in his hill estate. He thinks Mac may once have been beautiful, but now looks aged and surgically altered, with placid eyes and a faded, theatrical quality.
Role
Mac lives near Hung Lo, Laos, in a Japanese-feudal-style hill estate. Ben Etxina and Easton visit him after Easton identifies him as a possible path toward the source of scenebux.
Mac discusses Pentapede, Enward Capital, Enward’s former fundraising head Smirnoff Efsler, and T4’s difference from other technology circles. He reacts strongly when Merrick Glowee tries to get him talking about The Filter.
Before Mac can explain more, an armed attacker shoots him through a window. His death prevents Ben and Glowee from receiving a fuller account of The Filter and triggers the chase that wounds Glowee.
