Overview

The War of American Aggression is the Coalition name for the war that precedes the events of Burn Zone. The conflict ends in American defeat and leads to Coalition occupation, reconstruction, and tribunals for former regime figures.

Role

The remembered Brunn meeting occurs while the war is still active and the American position is collapsing. The attendees discuss carrier losses, missile-defense limits, Homeland Defensive Readiness Committee landing analysis, food austerity, and whether President Avett is preparing to accept surrender terms.

The war’s aftermath defines the present-day setting: COFOR guards control detention sites, the American Reconstruction Government represents the new order, and Coalition tribunals judge wartime conduct.
