Overview
The Coalition tribunals are the postwar tribunal system in Burn Zone. They try or examine former American regime figures and enemy combatants under the reconstruction order.
Procedure
Lorianna Blackstone tells Carter Clemens that his proceeding is not a court of law and that she may conduct it as she sees fit. The tribunal rejects ordinary constitutional protections for enemy combatants and treats contrition as a central issue.
The tribunal uses private questioning, witness testimony, detainee manipulation, and undercover counsel. Most known sessions occur in Moulsham Community College’s Barnam 138 Astronomy Lab, while the detainees are held across the green at Paul Revere High School. Its decisive evidence is the May 28 recording, found by Ray Bishop in American security archives.
The known tribunal sentences Ben Auerbach, Rupert Brunn, and Kelly Pearson to death for crimes against humanity. COFOR carries out the executions by firing squad at Paul Revere High School. Carter receives a mitigated ten-year military-prison sentence without visitation, parole, or correspondence for failing to prevent the crime after threats against his family.
